Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Coverage

We currently deliver across India to all serviceable PIN codes via our logistics partners. International shipping is not available at this time.

If your PIN code is not serviceable by our courier partners, we will notify you during checkout or within 24 hours of order placement, and the full amount will be refunded.

2. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines are indicative and begin after dispatch. Timelines may vary due to weather, public holidays, or force majeure events beyond our control.

3. Shipping Charges

• Orders below ₹999 carry a flat shipping fee calculated at checkout based on destination PIN code (typically ₹60–₹120).
• All shipping charges are inclusive of applicable taxes and displayed on the order summary before payment.
• Cash on Delivery (COD), where available, may carry an additional handling fee of up to ₹40 per order, shown at checkout.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled before dispatch or the product is faulty or incorrectly shipped.

4. Courier Partners

We dispatch orders through reputed logistics partners including (but not limited to):

• Shiprocket (aggregator)
• Delhivery
• Bluedart
• DTDC
• India Post (for remote pin codes only)

The courier selected for your order depends on your delivery PIN code. Once dispatched, you will receive an email and SMS with the tracking number and courier name.

5. Order Tracking

After dispatch, you can track your order in three ways:

• Visit gowraj.com/track and enter your Order ID
• Log in to your account and view the Orders section
• Click the tracking link in your dispatch email or SMS

6. Packaging

All ghee jars are packed in tamper-evident, temperature-protected outer cartons with cushioned inserts to prevent breakage in transit. Every shipment is sealed with Gowraj-branded security tape — please reject the delivery if the outer seal appears tampered with, and contact us at [email protected] immediately.

7. Damaged or Lost in Transit

If the courier marks your shipment as delivered but you have not received it, notify us within 72 hours. We will raise a non-delivery investigation with the courier partner and resolve the issue within 7 working days.

8. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

• You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number.
• If a delivery is returned to origin (RTO) because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, or refused delivery, we will contact you to re-ship at your expense. Standard shipping charges for the re-attempt will apply.
• If re-shipment is not possible, we will refund the product value minus the original shipping, RTO, and payment gateway charges actually incurred.

9. Order Cancellation by the Customer

• Before dispatch: You may cancel from your Account → Orders for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
• After dispatch: The order cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery or initiate a return as per our Return Policy.

10. Order Cancellation by Gowraj

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, unserviceable PIN code, suspected fraudulent transaction, or failure of payment verification. In all such cases, a full refund will be credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days and you will be notified by email.

11. Taxes & Invoicing

All prices on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST. A GST-compliant tax invoice is emailed to you at dispatch and is also available for download from your Account → Orders.
